Is unemployment a great problem where you live now?

Do you know people who have lost their jobs recently?

What do you think the role of the government is in regulating the unemployment situation?

How should the government help people who have lost their jobs?

They cry out for workers here I apply for jobs and either get declined or don't hear back.

Depends on where you are based and living. At the moment employment is very slow and aren't much going around but if my location starts getting freeport and more ships to trains start becoming bigger and factors become alive again regards the steel industry then my location will pick up.

My local town so far is spending money right & left that will defo employ people, in the next 5 years, they say it will employ over 35K people. But then again things might not happen.

Spending $280K on the renovation of an old train station, then spending another $450K on knocking two old buildings in the middle of the town and replacing them with a major new bigger building with an undercover arcade to walk in and out to the other side that leads to a beach

I hate that. That happened to me. I went without hearing from no one for a whole month before I got a call back from someone wanting me to come in.

I think the low paying jobs are abundant, but it's difficult to pay bills with those jobs. Housing where I live is very expensive and is comparable to living in the city with rental amounts. That's ridiculous.
