Some people hate pirating and surely it is stealing! I would agree! However, it cannot be enforced in China etc. Also, what about lesser forms of pirating - like say, when a forum software company says you can only do so many upgrades from one license but has no in-built mechanism to stop it?
OK, in these cases, we cannot count on the goodwill of people, given human nature, to obey - so I'd say things should either be made crime-proof or legal!
