Most of us have staff boards on our forums, right? 🙂 But staff boards are a section of the forum that is rarely seen by anyone but staff. On some of the forums I have helped out on as a staff member, I have seen many unique staff boards that I have not seen anywhere else.
So my question is, what are some unique staff-only boards that you have used or seen on message forums?
Can't say I've found anything unique. Just a place to discuss forum management, staff members fun forum, and mostly VIP sections. Can't think of more interesting ones, so to say.
My forum's staff boards set up is complicated. It started simple, but then more and more things were added.
We have the staff lounge board, for all staff, vip, and donators, and then inside that we have a three subboards. We have a staff and vip section (which is the section used most), a subboard for admins only, and a subboard for the staff trash. We also have a section on the index for just mods and admins, as well as a section with a thread in it where all shoutbox posts appear (including the deleted ones) visible to VIPs and staff. Then another section where all deleted posts are stored only visible to admins. There are two other sections on the index too that you may not have seen before but I can't tell you what they are 😉
FH's aren't very unique, but I might as well share. We have an admin room, with two trashes. Next is the team leader board, which has three subforums, for all of the applications we get for staff spots. Next is the moderators' room, followed by the staff room, which has its own trash. And finally, a VIP room, and a trash can with all of the inactive subforums.
