I dislike the ads, they don't look nice and are slightly out of place, but there's nothing that can be done about that. I can actually live with that. Your style is nice - from what I understand, ZetaBoards offers limited customisation, but everything about it is pretty good.

Your logo is an area which needs work on. It's bad. Colourwise, it's a seperate entity to that of your forum. It's all brown, and that would work better if your forum had at least some brown. The font face and placement is pretty ordinary, and the splatter behind it looks strange. The reflection is badly done, and the brick pattern that overlays the banner needs to go.

Also there's been a second theme added so you should review that, too.
 
Your logo doesn't really match the theme.
And the theme looks like a premade instead of a custom.
 
What they said. You've got a really dark logo on a really bright forum. Fix that.

Also, not really sure what this site is for. Needs something to explain exactly what is going on there and why I should register an account.

At first glance it looks like the forum game that accompanied the book Jennifer Government. (sorry I don't remember the site). You'd make nations and participate in diplomacy of some sort.

And UW is similar to NationStates...but far from the same. Lol. (War system topic explains it...)

Ok, here is my small review.

First, your banner. Its the first thing I see when entering your forum. It takes long to load and doesn't suit the skin. I do like your skin though. Also the ads put me off, even though you can't get rid of them. Also your forum categorys are set out nice. Good luck with your forum 😉
 
I think the banner loads quite fast, but you may want to have a think about it. I like the banner, but the forum skin isn't of my liking. Ads are a real turn off, and it may be a thing that makes visitors leave.
 
I'm reviving UW after many months of not trying anymore. Thus I make this topic rise from the ninth page.
