Your Quick Review

Forum Pros:

The forum design is very prestine. I really like the colors used throughout the theme. The banner matches up real nicely; all with great pics and a flashy graphic flaming off the ends.

The skin is nice, and welcoming to any audience. The orange category titles, really match up well against the black. Even a nice choice used for the New/Old posts icons. As i said, from looks, everything matches up great.

Forum Cons:

While I'm skimming down the forum, it just seems you're expecting alot to come from this. I'm going to take a wild guess, and say you have anywhere from 50-65 sub-boards in the ATV sections. The best thing I would do, it just make those sub-boards, into "topics" under the board. Then, once you get enough activity, maybe split them back up. But, it seems like it's going to take alot of work, and support to get each section really going.

The Riding section, also causes a concern. Wouldn't it be just best to have one board, and just have topics, for members to post in those topics, that their location is in. They could even be "stickied" ... just really seems like alot.

And, if you're going to allow advertisements, and affiliates, those 2 boards should be placed directly at the bottom. You really don't want that being up top, and the first thing members and guests see when browsing through each section.

What was most liked about the website/forums:

The Look. Everything about the skin, icons, banner. It was a very nice forum to look at; and everything really sycned up perfectly, in my opinion.

What was disliked most about the website/forums:

It's just got too many uneeded boards in my opinion, for starting out. Maybe there are more popular ATV forums you're getting these ideas from, but for a new forum, less is sometimes better; for starting out.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?

I actually really like the look, and if i was a rider, and the forum was opened with more activity, I'd defenitely check it out. Unfortunately, I just have no personal interests on the subject.

Final Score : 7 - (Out of 10)

Thank you for your review. The 2 main ideas I had in mind are:

1. Set up now the way you want it to be, so later you don't have to close the boards for a day and do some serious construction. (I've had this happen previous on another board)
2. I want to make this as user friendly as possible. When troubled users are in a hurry (last minute) to get their bikes setup (dialing in, tuning, etc) they want to find info fast. This is exactly why I have each ATV manufacturer and sections so it will take them less then 3 minutes to find the info they need. I can see as a non ATV'er, yes there is tonnes of forums but I do make them for a reason. I will show this review to staff and we will talk.

But I appreciate the hard work you've put in with both of my requests, very well done and prompt. Kudos to you and the entire review team for that matter. I just wanted another point of view from somebody different then my own staff. Thank's for everything.

Justin
