Unreliable Alexa

trololololololololololo.com is about 35 000 Alexa, and N/A Page Rank. The domain runs on no real key words, so how did it get so high in Alexa? Any thoughts?

Well, it's all down to the traffic. The domain holder could easily of used a service to bump up his/her alexa rank. or used autosufers to get him this high...there are many ways.

You aren't proving how Alexa is unreliable at all and no they don't, PR/Alexa do generally have a positive correlation but it's not a rule.

Ok then, Fergal's BAF is 40 000 Alexa. It has a great SERP and a PR3. Trololo.....com is 35 000 Alexa, no PR, no SERP keyword. Doesn't that show a bit of unreliability?

Personally i think everyone knows that Alexa isn't that reliable. Everything can be manipulated and abused. PR is not something that good to judge a site either in my opinion.

that site gets lots of visitors because it's one of those viral sites, search google for the domain and you'll see plenty of links/references to it: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=trolol ... =firefox-a
