UPDATE: Recent Downtime

Forum Promotion,

I am sure that you are aware that Forum Promotion experienced a downtime recently and had some others issues with our host. The downtime resulted in the lost of two days worth of posts. Therefore if one of your posts has been lost, please make the posts again. We have now migrated to Scala Hosting's SSD Cloud Servers which would give us a better speed and uptime. The migration was very successful and everything is now back to normal. If you experience any issues, please let us know.

Since our database has been rolled back to two days ago, we have updated to FPv3.1.1 again. We have also acquired the domain http://www.forumpromotion.info although http://www.forumpromotion.net is still our main domain.

Thanks for your understanding and hope that the downtime we had haven't caused you any issues.

Also, attention to all members: only sub-forums of Promotion Directory were removed. All threads are retained and therefore there is no need to create a new topic unless for submitting new website/forum/blog. Use the search feature, especially advanced search, for best solution in finding your thread at the new Promotion Directory.

Great to see the forum back up and running I tried again and again i was thinking its issue at my end as Fp downtime is very rare. But good to see it back!

Regards to old posts there is a way to recover them I also had mine lost and re -recovered!

Scarface: unfortunately, we did not have a backup stored off-server before the time we were rolled back to. There was no way for the host to recover our data any further back.

I think we're lucky not to have lost more. 😛

As Twisted Fairytale mentioned, we cannot recover the posts as we had a hardware failure and we only had a backup from two days before the incident. Unfortunately you will just need to make the posts again.

Well the good news is Forum promotion is back were it belongs. Honestly I was bored not seeing this online. It was like something was missing lol even though I have my own forum I didnt even do one post today there. Thats how much FP means to me and I'm sure everyone else too...

Yeah, I just noticed. Thanks. Everybody was working really hard getting these changes done early this morning. Great work everyone. It's awesome. 😀
