Nice userbar the scanlines should be more visible though.

It looks great, user bar is great. Text is a little big though, scan lines aren't really needed for a user bar all the time, but it does seem a tad plain. Good job though.

Which font are you using for the pixel text?
For userbars, it ought to be Visitor TT2 BRK - Size 14px. The pattern to the right of the userbar, did you use a brush or did you make it yourself? Not bad for a first attempt, but the black doesn't work too well on the blue IMO.

it is visitor. but its like 30 font lol and i used the pen tool and made some curves with it and used the 5 brush with the pressure thing to make the pattern on the right. i want to learn the pen tool quick since it always helps out with patterns and stuff. and how do you make it where you can put the font anywhere. it keeped going too high or down there when i tried to change it :/ and i'll find a dif color to use on it. thanks for the advice MHW 🙂

Just draw your text box as you normally would, and then once you're done typing / adding effects select the move tool and use the arrow keys to nudge the text box to its position. ~smile~

Looks great for your first piece of work on photoshop.
The only thing I could think of to make it better wuld be to add a 1x1 black pixel border onto it,give it a higher "glossy" look,and put some better font on it.

I think you could improve the 'K' and make the writing a better colour other than white.
