Updating our Theme

Hi everyone!

It has been quite some time since thesurge.net has updated its theme (current theme is from early 2014 and is starting to feel outdated). We are looking to take it a step further and purchase a paid theme. So far we have only utilized free ones.

There are two themes I am looking at, both from Industrialthemes. They are Steam (http://themeforest.net/item/steam-responsive-retina-review-magazine-theme/5734392) and Flavor (http://themeforest.net/item/flavor-responsivehd-magazinereview-ajax-theme/4817769)

Which one do you think would be best for my site based on our content and areas that we cover? If you know of another theme that you think would be better, feel free to share that as well.

I think I like Flavor out of those two optioins. The top 10 and everything is a much more appealing set up on that one. And the font on steam is somewhat tiny and looks strange in some parts. Flavor just looks better for Surge I think 🙂

Flavor definitely looks more presentable.

This would be an update worth implementing. I've been using the same forum theme since we started, and I couldn't be any happier with it. I customized it a lot. Looks very presentable.

Thanks for the responses. I'm leaning towards Flavor as well. Anyone else have some opinions on this?
