I have Canva Pro and when we got our new credit card last December, I found that Canva wouldn't allow me to update the card in my account! I kept trying every month, just in case they fixed something, and FINALLY it went through. The plan expires in 3 weeks, so I'm glad I didn't have to fuss around with their customer support.

If you found that you couldn't update your credit card, just keep trying.

That's really weird that you weren't able to update the card on your account for a while. Every company should know that credit cards/debit cards expire and that they should make the process easy for customers to update that information when the time comes. I'm glad you were able to renew it before it was too late!

I have experienced the same problem of updating payment details on other platforms. So, I know how frustrating it can be. Thank you for your experience and recommendation though.

The message given was indicating that it was a fault with my credit card, but we checked, and it wasn't! Isn't that always how it goes...it's always someone else's fault?

That's something that I wish companies would pay more attention to if customers complain multiple times! Maybe they need to review things a bit better?

I've had this issue when I've received a new car in the mail with the same numbers, but a different CVV. I don't remember what platform it was, but it wouldn't allow me to update the CVV. I just ended up giving up and using a different credit card entirely.

I always forget I need to update mine lol. Or I'll forget I have auto pay set up and that I need to update it to continue with the auto pay, and then the payment declines and I'm confused as to why until I remember I got a new card.

Funnily enough though, I did set my card up to auto bill me for Nintendo's online membership each month after my free trial that I got from Best Buy for buying the Switch 2 expired, and it still declined. Not sure if it was because the card was frozen at the time (I do tend to freeze my credit card because I've had one too many issues with my card info being stolen) or if it was a glitch in the system, but I did find it odd. Pretty sure the card info was put in correctly since I have the card saved to my Google Wallet anyways for Google Pay and it just pulls from that once I type in the CVV, but I haven't dug in to see why or tried again since I haven't been using the online services much anyways lately.
