I upgraded my OS from Windows XP to Windows 7.
I had to do this because there was something going on with one of the drivers that was being installed on XP that wasn't working.
I wasn't finding out a way to get the older driver back or fix it to make the newer driver compatible with XP, so I cleaned out my computer and Upgraded to Windows 7.
I think the suspect driver was the latest driver from ATI.
Since upgrading to Windows 7, I've not had a problem.
It was interesting to because the computer would freeze for a minute before and then turn black and I'd have to reboot (by holding the power button).
Now I have no problems.
