My official laptop is running on Windows 7 and our office had issued a memo that we are upgrading to Windows 10 before the year ends. Some of my colleagues were saying that Windows 10 have many issues particularly in compatibility with old programs. I sense a consensus of resistance among my colleagues and that gives me the scare. What if indeed there are issues of compatibility? For those using Windows 10, what can you say about it?

I had Windows 8.1 and moved to windows 10 for free 🙂

I mostly do an full clean install anyway. With OEM versions are cheaper then buying the full upgrade kit. Since it's no longer free

I upgraded my PC from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and never experienced any compatibility issues. Windows 10 has been released for a while now and most likely a lot of programs would of been updated to be compatible with it.

I never liked Windows, currently I'm using macOS, maybe one day I'll go back to Ubuntu Linux.

I would recommend to install Windows 8.1 PRO. This one is tested and running smoothly without any problem, windows 10 for now have some many bugs and fixes. Maybe you should give it a shot! 😉😉

I have upgraded my laptop with Windows 10 a few months back and didn't have any compatible issues for running software and programs.

Thanks so much for your input on Windows 10. To be honest, I have some reservations for the planned upgrade to Windows 10 because of the issues that I hear from my colleagues. My concern is the adjustment needed for the user since I am used to Windows 7 and it may hamper my efficiency in my work if there are issues to resolve on the upgrade.
