Urgent Please Help

I'm on a race to reopen my forum today but I've hit a major problem at the very start.

How do you upload a mysql database?

As in restore one form a previous backup?

create a database using the mysql wizard then go into phpmyadmin click on that database it should be empty, import the file and its done! make sure you have made a new user and given it the correct permissions too.

EDIT: I've done everything now I'm getting an internal error from mybb.
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1146 - Table 'zingorwe_convert.datacache' doesn't exist
Query:
SELECT title,cache FROM datacache
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

have you converted from phpbb to mybb?

What happened was someone converted it for me to phpbb then to mybb then gave me the database.

it looks like something went wrong with the conversion from phpbb, try over at mybb.com they should know better than i do.

Yeah mybb support team helped me fix it, it was the table prefix. We might just reach our target of reopening the forum by Sunday.
