Url advise. forum or forums

Hello, I am working on a large project right now, my own project just a hobby but plan on making it big. What do you recommend for url. forum or forums. so like bigoilforums.com or bigoilforum.com thats an example url not one I am going to use, but you think forum or forums is better?

Well I would use bigoilforum. Since it is only one forum and its probably about oil.

You should probably get both if you genuinely want "forum/s" in your domain. Someone else could register the other version and may do better than you, so you want to maximize your chances. Also, one could remember it to be s or no s, so you'd not gain as much traffic as possible.

JUst about to same the same myself, i have www.productforum.info and www.productforum.eu

You should purchase the shorter domain. Less typing to visit your forum.

In terms of brand there really is no difference, but definitely buy both and redirect one to the other
