USA Gas Prices

It is, hopefully it wont jump up. I love to see it that low, but its usually followed by super high prices and we cant take a hit like that right now -🙁

Not really...in Ohio they hit $5.10 over the summer. Needless to say we didnt drive many places for awhile.

Yeah, it only lasted about a week before it went down to like $4.40 ish, but a rough week it was. I was pretty much stuck at home at that point.

Let me just put things in perspective for you Americans...

At the moment we currently pay about £1 per litre of petrol / diesel, which in your currency is about $1.47 per litre...so in terms of gallons where you pay $1.39 per gallon...we're paying equal to $7.35 per gallon.

It gets worse too, a few months back we were hit really hard for petrol prices, per litre we had to pay about £1.45, which is about $2.14. So a few months ago...where your highest was $4.10 per gallon we were paying $10.70 per gallon...and this lasted for a good few weeks.

Besides, the dollar is getting more valuable against the pound and everything over there is cheaper anyway...so I'm not sure why you all complain when things get more expensive ~lol~

The prices here got as bad as 120p a litre and now we have to pay 90p a litre.

I believe ... the prices rise more than they fall.... dunno when will all the price rates settle

They are actually high compared to a few years ago when oil was the same price (per barrel) it was about $1.40 where I live and now its around $1.90. But it is a lot cheaper than it was a year ago!

I am very happy with gas prices. Now instead of 70 dollars to fill up it is 25 for me. -D-

Well New York always has the highest gas prices (besides Alaska and Hawaii) all the taxes here. You go to New Jersey and it's 50¢ less.

I know, now its so cheap...its like "wtf" time...

Why can they now charge so little when before...it was so much?

They control our wallets!
