I noticed a lack of a USB driver topics here...

Do you use them? How often? How many?

I do, I have two, one for files and one to store my songs to play them on my streo 😛

I've had three of them so far, with my very first one back in 2002 that was only 64MB in capacity. Couldn't make use of it as for some reason it was write-protected.

Then, I got another two which I still have: a 512MB one that I bought from my college's Student Shop in 2007 and this year, got a 2GB one that came with my new computer. I used the first one for storing my college work and only used the second one for transferring my files from the laptop I borrowed from college to the new computer.

I have a lovely 16GB USB stick. 🙂 At the time, it was the biggest one you could have (I think there are larger ones now).

I can't wait for the day when you can get USBs in terabytes. >=D

I have 3. One 256MB IOMEGA, 4GB Patriot Xproter, 4 GB Duracell drive.

I use the 4 GB ones to boot my computer to Ubuntu.

I have an 8GB HP for pictures and schoolwork.

I have a 2GB Sims 3 drive for transferring files to and from my laptop to and from my desktop.

My first one was a 512MB one, which stopped working without reason (it didn't fall, nor get wet, nor anything). For the time I got it (second hand from someone that didn't need it), it was already small - the average pendrive had 2GB of capacity.

Then I received one of these Chinese MP3 players, often known as S1MP3, which had 512MB of memory. I still use it nowadays to carry files from the infected computers at school to a virus-protected machine (aka virtual machine of the turn 🙂 ).
I had those two pens for a long time until I received a 1GB one. Some time later, I had a 8GB microSD card (which also worked as pendrive) for my birthday, but some months later it also stopped working without a specific reason (I think it just burnt its memory, or something). I got the money back and bought a 16GB pendrive for the same price.

So, in conclusion, now I have a 512MB MP3 player, a 1GB pendisk, a 4GB Rockboxed (http://rockbox.org ) iPod and that 16GB pendisk. This last one, I'm not sure yet how to fill it 🙂

I have a 1 GB and an 8 GB...but I haven't used them in ages. I should probably back up my pictures though...

i Have a Imation Swivel USB Drive 32GB. well worth it. It holds 2 computers worth of files and still has room to spare

Eh, normally I'll buy a cheap 2 GB one for <$15. Dunno how many Ive went through, can't count it off the top of my head.

I don't know about you guys, but I personally prefer floppy disks. Even if they aren't all that floppy. But seriously, I've never found a use for portable storage, I just don't have information that important.

I have two of them.
One for transferring files (2GB),and one for Linux Mint Distribution Boot (4GB).

I have 5 of them, 2 for work the other 3 for personal use.

I have a 720GB External Hard Drive for my work and backups.

I only use 2 x 4 gb Corsair Usb stick. They are wateproof and anti-crash. I store my work and my music.

USB Driver topics? 😛 Thats not the most interesting 😀 I don't have many. The biggest one I have is 2GB
