Use Ipblacklist to prevent spam attack

If you have a wordpress blog like myself, you will find it very annoying when spam attackers not only post random irrelevant comments but try to access your admin account. Someone from one ip tried to access the account 429 times.

IP Blacklist Cloud plugin allows you to blacklist IP addresses from visiting your WordPress website. Also, it submits your website link to the blocked IP database on http://ip-finder.me which gives the other users to view how many sites have blocked the specific IP and see their comments. New feature has been added to plugin which allows you to block usernames from spamming (comments) on your website.

The good thing is that once they are blocked, they can access your site from that same IP. Others can also input information about that ip on ipfinder and is good for your information too.
