What is your oppinion of forum software company's who use 'BB' at the end of their names/domains? Not open source or free, paid company's such as IPS for example.

Would you use the software if it had BB appended to it?

This isn't support this is discussion. But still, I don't care what people name it and the name of the software shouldn't make a difference it should be the quality of the software that matters. Besides the BB makes sense so why not use it?

Doesent really matter, Vbulletin can be named VB Its the quality and what they offer to bd honest.

For me BB sounds good.

I would only use a software which has BB at the end (and "My" at the front). 😛

I Agree that is A great software 😉

BB stands for Bulletin Board. It should technically be BBS (Bulletin Board System) because just having BB could infer it's just a discussion forum. Having BBS differs as you're going on about the actual software.

But to answer the question, it wouldn't make any difference. Reputation is key, so I'd still stick with the main software either way.

Don't see any difference. Microsoft can rename Windows to WinBB and it's still just as bad. You can call Linux LinuxBB and it's still just as good. Of course, that's my personal opinion.

I kind of thought all forum software's with BB at the end were all related somehow, like different version of the companies software.
But it sounds more like they just all aren't creative, as if all of them just stole the idea from the original.
