So Twisty's Addon-Directory topic inspired me to get looking for some useful add-ons.
Upon my travels, I stumbled across these two:
Paste Quote
This Add-On adds an extra option to the context menu called "Paste Quote". It works in exactly the same way as a normal Copy / Paste would, however the significant difference is that it adds tags around the pasted text. Additionally instead of using Ctrl+V to paste, Ctrl+Q can be used to paste the quote.
This add-on is useless outside of the forum industry, but if you're the kind of person who likes to quote specific lines of text you'll find this very quick and useful, especially for forums whos quick reply doesn't have BBCode buttons (like ours).

BBCode Xtra
More popular and more advanced, if you're really lazy you'll love this Add-On. Similar to the Paste quote this Add-On adds extra options to the context menu that allow you to insert BBCodes just by clicking from the context menu. Additionally it has a feature similar to paste quote, in that it allows you to paste content from the clip board between the selected BBCode tag.
For example, say I wanted to post an image in the topic, I'd find the image, right click and choose "Copy Image location". Then head over to the forum, right click and choose "BBCode Xtra -> Clipboard -> Image". The image link is then pasted with tags around it.
By default this add-on comes with vBulletin support as well as HTML and xHTML extras, however you can disable those from showing up if you don't like too much clutter. I did.

Install: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/491
Check em' out 😀
