When you go on forums

1. Do you use your own name or do you come up with a username?
2. Do you use the same username on all the forums you go on or do you use ones that work on that forum so for example you go on a Star Wars forum and you come up with a username that resembles a character etc?
3. Do you ever forget what username you use on a forum?

I used to use a username but as I don't go on many forums anymore I decided to just use my name. I used to always forget what username I had because I kept making new usernames for the different forums so a Spongebob username for Spongebob forums, Harry Potter username for Potter forums, and so on.

I always use the same username because it's unique and easy for me to remember. On every type of forum.

If I can change the display name, though, I change it to "elli". That is actually my name, albeit a shortened version.

I keep my usernames pretty consistent (MeowsePad or Princess MeowsePad) unless I feel like a touch of anonymity.

I'm empire and always known to be empire allover the world wide web. Everything on the we that's Forums, gaming sites, gaming network you name it has the name of empire. I keep my personal life out of online world.

I use the same username on everything and so it's easy to remember and not hard to forget.

I used to have variations of my username on different forums until 4 years ago when Christianity Haven started up. Then I stopped using other forums because I was too involved in growing the site. Now that I'm here on FP I started joining other forums for various reasons and have used the Lämmchen username on all those sites. I have a spreadsheet to keep track of all the passwords since I won't use the same one everywhere!

I use my name but also mix it up with a username I came up with a while ago.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers DudeThats.Me a website that used to be popular in the early 2000s where people would sign up saying that they were a celebrity. Well, I took that name of the website and twisted it. I use DudeThatsErin. I've been using it since the early 2000s. Yes, I use it everywhere. I even have a website "dudethatserin.site" 😀 No, I never forget it because it is my email, too. Hahahaha.

I have tried to use Ghost, but it's taken on many popular forums and websites.
I change the name around, so I haven't really had a single name in use for a long time. I only use Ghost here on FP, CodeForum, and Gosora-project. Everything else is much different. Sometimes I use my real first name, William, and other times I go for something totally random. It just depends, but I really don't sign up for forums too often so it's not an issue I face.

I used to use the name for my character like on here, but normally now just use my real name.
