Usernames?

So I'm thinking of getting my own username which isn't my name, and I'm trying to think of one.

How did you guys get yours?


And I'm thinking of Zinc ATM. 😛

I kind of stole mine, About 12 years a go I use to play a game called NexusTK. (Still going now I think)

One of the Gods (GM's) of the game was called Methok.

I signed up to a website back then that needed a username and I couldn't think of any so I kind of stole this one.

I use to use Hype on everything but it became quite a popular name so was always taken, either that or things needed a minimum of 5 characters in which case it just wasn't long enough. (Story of my life).

I combined Luke and Code to make Cloud or maybe kCloud

One of my old childhood friends that I had helped me make mine when I first got a computer and it just stuck. I needed a username for AOL of all things, back in the day of *gasp* dial-up *gasp* lol

You need to be unique, I have had a few in the past but the ones I have now are some way connected with my real name.

I think choosing an element from the periodic table would suit nicely actually. I just have Dan because everyone knows me as that and it's easy to remember/spell etc.

mine has two meanings- professor x (what it was intended to be) and pro-fx (professional graphics) i just thought of it randomly, my other username is bigbiddly (random :lol: )

For me i done the first 3 letters of my site (animal crossing forums) which makes acf then i thought of promotion and i made acfpromo.
