As mentioned in the last e-mail regarding new node assignations to grid-1 and grid-2, now we will be performing the Disk Rebuild on these machines.
We were a bit paranoid concerning the resource assignation made almost one week and a half ago, which honestly did not take even 5 minutes (was a simple machine reboot) and even knowing that we sent several reminders days after this was scheduled and hours before the procedure started.
We are now announcing the second part of this process, the Disk Rebuild.
This rebuild will take place the next Saturday 18 of June at Midnight GMT -5. There is still a discusion regarding the exact day, as Saturdays generarly have generated us more traffic than Fridays and Thursday being the day with less activity. The exact date will be sent within hours.
The addition of disk space will allow us to continue bringing quality service in addition of general performance experienced in the machine to give rough with the use of this important resource, we have calculated and provided approximately 60 minutes for this task to be completed, considerably less time than adding a new disk to a dedicated server, and regardless of RAID configurations, etc.
