Using toolbars to make money like Swagbucks.com ?

Anyone tried using http://www.conduit.com/ to make a toolbar, and use the toolbar to make money with like SwagBucks, Mypoints, etc.

I feel this only works if you share a portion of your revenue from Toolbar users like Mypoints, or Swagbucks, and your website has a lot of members using the toolbar.

But, fewer people are using toolbars these days I think because of the negative reputation of toolbars being ad-ware/advertising software. Plus, they take up a lot of space on web browsers, and Google Chrome, Opera, and other browsers besides Internet Explorer, and Firefox supports Toolbars.

Tried them before.
It's hard to get anyone to use it.
when I joined chrome wasn't used 😛

Most of these Toolbars seem to be bundled with free software, but I think a lot of people are smart enough to uncheck or disable them in Firefox, IE, and other browsers if they forgot to uncheck the toolbar install during freeware install.
