Using Yahoo Ansers for content ideas

Many people think of Yahoo answers only as a way to get free backlinks for SEO. But have you ever considered using Yahoo Answers as a way to spark ideas for fresh blog or forum content? Many times, a Yahoo user will post a question on the site asking for advice. Maybe one of these questions could lead you to do more research to find the answer, which could turn into a full article on your blog or forum. Of course, this would all be in your own words.

The benefit is that when you are finished, you can then go to the original Yahoo Answer that inspired the article and post a quick answer along with a backlink to your now published article. Talk about how you use Yahoo Answers to generate ideas for content.

This is great advice! I actually use to do this sometimes a year+ ago, but for some reason quit doing it do to laziness. I'm going to give it another try now that you mentioned it 🙂

I've always used YA as a conduit for getting backlinks in the past but that's actually a very good idea!

Many times I've seen lots of interesting things being asked on YA (Amomgst the trolls!).
