As a response to a single incident in which a woman allegedly paid a man to beat her and induce a miscarriage.
miscarriages that result from an "intentional, knowing, or reckless act" would be treated as illegal abortions, punishable by life in prison.
It is not possible to enforce that. There will be tons of cases where intentional will be seen as unintentional and vice versa.Justin M said:miscarriages that result from an "intentional, knowing, or reckless act" would be treated as illegal abortions, punishable by life in prison.
The law only covers intentional miscarriages, not miscarriages due to natural causes.
