Hi folks,

Appreciate not everyone is using vB! Just though I would ask if anyone has any experience of using vBSeo?

Cheers,
JPM

I used it in the past when I actually ran vBulletin and it did help a lot in my SERPs.

Thanks for the reply. So did you see a good increase in traffic and registered users?

Ive had very minor working time with vBSEO however when I did use it, it was a great product, easy to work with and really does provide the results. However you do not need vBSEO to get good SERPs, proof of this is DP, one of the biggest vB forums on the internet.

Do you think vBseo still matters since vBulletin has SEF urls in 4.0?

Take a look at the feature page and compare 4.0 to their 3.5 version, I wouldn't recommend it personally.

I haven't used it since vBulletin 4's release, but it definitely helps. A lot. Just make sure you have the proper redirections in place (for your old addresses) or you'll lose all of your rankings and have to work your way back up, like I did.

VBSEO is great and it's helped my site's traffic tremendously since we've installed it. 🙂

Yes, because they still add stuff that vBulletin 4 doesn't (besides, FURLs mean next to nothing these days in SEO).

ie.
- rel="canonical"
- sitemaps
etc.

Exactly how much of a difference did it make? Do you have any exact numbers to back it up?
