Ah sad to hear this, vBulletin suffers with security vulnerability. This is why many don't upgrade the script?

I'm not familiar with vB, but anyone using it should patch that vulnerability up with the latest upgrade :-0

Yes, they should. I think one of FP Team member uses vB in their forum. Hope they apply the patch.

Most individuals that I know that are still using vB have stuck with vB 4. No one was impressed when they released vB 5. It's really unfortunate to see such a major security flaw being present on so many communities though. We could all be victims to that. I've certainly registered on a few vB 5 forums.

I think the last time I cared to use VB was back during VB 2 I think. I did see this article pop up, hopefully, folks patch and or migrate away from VB. That is one expensive piece of software.
