So many people brag about having this, and they say it is such a good running system, but I've always found it to be a really ugly running system -- and I could never stick to a vBulliten forum that long. What is your opinion on it?

I think it has it's flaws the same as all forum software. It's biggest glitch is the main draw in... looks... they usually end up looking terrible.

I personally liked 3.6 but not 3.7. I have seen some good looking vb forums although i must admit looks does let it down a bit but you can make it look really good a professional though.

I hate it, the skins, the layout and the general navigation i prefer BB3 any day, infact VB is one of the last things i would use ~lol~

I would certainly now choose IPB over vb anyday.

I have a VB forum and love it, its the first time i have used it as normally i go with PHPBB,

From looking at the demo of VB the acp has too many options and when I was a temp admin on a IPB acp I felt was easyer to use.

Vb does have alot of options and it does in my opinion have alot of unnecessary ones where as IPB does have less options but you have near enough the same control and do the same things.

IPB's ACP does also look better too

VB is overpriced imo

Seems like the ACP is good though.

Shadyninja.com has a great website hosted on vbuliten. Very active. The layout is MEH but its fine.

I personally like phpBB3 the best. I am familiar with it, and it has all the necessary options, and all of the extra ones are actually useful.
