Velcro helmet cam/mount?

Anyone know of a camera or mount under $60 that could attach to a hat like this?

We like to record our airsoft matches and I normally stick my iPod in my vest jacket, but when I aim I turn my shoulder so it goes right up to my face.

Or maybe something that can attach to a standard weaver RIS mount/barrel clamp or camera?

It probably won't help much with just that, but i'm not sure of the diameter of the barrel.

I looked at those, but they are freaking expensive.

I am not very knowledgeable in this area. I know the GoPro's are expensive, but I know they are consistently getting good reviews and are very popular.

Yep, but we don't play professional airsoft so I can't justify spending over $60.
