We have done some "behind-the-scenes" changes to the forum.

Added the Anti-Spam ACP. No spam posts \o/
Added the [twitch] BBCode, so peeps can embed their fav TwitchTV livestream on the forum.
We have completed the "Rules Room", a global center for all the rules for all the forum on the site.
We have added the "Steam Group" and "Twitter" links to the Nav Bar, so you can easily group up with us and Follow us on Twitter!

There is still a long way to go before the forum is "Perfect" and to get it perfect, we need you, the readers of ForumPromotion to join up and start posting!

Hi Marc, The forum has only been "online" since Tuesday. Over the next week (hopefully), I will be bulking up the forum. If needed I will use one of FP's Posting Packages.

Due to a bit of illness this week, the promotion and the posting of topics and posts of the forum will be sporadic over the new few days.

Changelog for today:

+ Added "Mobile Gaming" forum. There wasn't a actual place to talk about Mobile Gaming. All posts related to it have been moved to the relevant forum.

* Rules are now located on the topic index of each forum. When you go to a forum now, you will see the rules rather than a "Forum Rules..." link that was there previously and with that said.

- "The Rules Room" has been removed. All the rules threads have been moved to the Archive of the forum, if we decide to move them around again.

Work on the site resumes tomorrow (Sunday 14th) and it's mainly going to be the front page of the site. I would like to get one up instead of having a picture. 😛

Nothing much to talk about other than that. I just need to get ideas down on paper and then somehow implement them. 🙂

Hi everyone. It has been a week since I actually posted a update about VGIRE, due to sickness, family issues and of course my birthday (which was yesterday, 21st), I haven't been really doing much with the site!

Since the weekend, I tried installing a MOD but it failed (I will get back to it this week) and I have also been working on the front page of the site in which I have got the header and the navigation bar done. The main body of the page is to come later this week!

I have started a "Tips" series of posts on the forum for people who never used a forum before and in the first edition, I talk about how to set a avatar and a signature.

Other than that now, the forum has been quiet. Since the last post here on ForumPromotion, there has been 1 new member!

Any constructive feedback / tips or anything at all would be greatly appreciated! 😀

For now, I have decided to not really promote the forum as we are not ready to go "prime-time" with the site. We haven't even got the forums fully ready and not enough of support from people to join and interact.

We still have time to get the site up and running before releasing it. I would like to get the front page done as soon as possible and have it ready for when we launch!

If you have any ideas on how to improve VGIRE (Not just the forums) then please do tell us! Thank you!
