First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
Quite an interesting graphics site there, you seem to offer very useful graphic resources such as very good in-depth tutorials, and a rating system. I like how you have a good few competitions every week and the way thy get displayed on the top of the header but you could all the participants in a slide show in the box then at the end have like a ten second dazzle moment for the winners work, just a wacky idea. Try extending the background glow all the way down the page to be honest it did get boring just seeing it displayed in the top of the forum, it would look more appealing if it was displayed all the way down, but use good colours. I liked the banner it is very impressing and interesting and tells me you take time on your designs, although the ladders look like they have been in a cartoon and just stuck there, it ain't a big deal but I have saw better. You should add a selection of themes as sometimes it get's boring having to visit a darker themed forum, just a mix between white and black themes and you may see a few new members walking through the door.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
The site layout is honestly, let's say fair I can't say I like it but I can't say I don't. You should reduce the amount of space in your header and move the ''Welcome to VibrantFX click to join here'' graphic in the banner or a separate part of the banner but the same background design as the banner, make it fit in. The sidebar ain't very good either, it uses a lot of space up on the forum and I know you can disable it but if you decide to either remove it or keep it but remove a few features, remove Top Users, Today's Top Posters, and latest discussions. It will make the bottom look tidier as you already have a large majority of users logging in each day. The forums are laid out pretty well although the one thing that you should have done is adding a general discussion section to extend the discussion as mixing it in with the first category gets confusing at times. Also the Apply To Be Staff Member forum shouldn't be there, you should be picking your staff your self but if you work with a different rota I don't see why not merging it in with some other forums.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
Interesting amount of users that log on each day, but do they post most of the time? A site your time should he at least 25 active posters to possibly 50 posters, try getting daily posters although your statistics seem okay but you could improve. Keep it up and just promote.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
You seem slightly overstaffed, you have way to much Forum Moderators and I can't say it is needed as the forum only seems to need to moderate 200 posts a day which ain't bad. The staff seem pretty confident about there positions and you should be proud to say that they are all effective contributors and confidential individual and you should be proud that they are helping you out as not many people find good contributors to graphics forum.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
Forum descriptions can be worked on length wise, try making them longer but more descriptive as I would like to know a quick brief description about rankings or the Team/Member Battles, just something to work on. Your post's seem pretty impressive and so do your staffs and not to say your members, tell them to keep it up and you can bring in a lot of members that way.
