We were on a video call yesterday, and the host had their phone connected to the tv so they could see everyone and hear them loudly. The problem is that there was a lot of feedback coming through to us and we had an echo of what everyone said. What can be done for them to not have that happen next time? We were on a Facebook video call if that helps and I think they have iPhones.

Through the tv is how they wanted to hear the call.
I know but as soon as the sounds is too loud it creates an echo. It's like that on the radio too, when a listener is calling with the radio station, they need to tone down their volume, or it creates an echo.

How can they hear then?

If they have a Roku tv they should be able to use the app to connect to their phone, and then they can use a bluetooth headset to talk and listen to call since the audio will be coming through their smartphone, It might help with the echo.

How does that work with 2 people in the room trying to do the video call?
