Do you have a feature on your site where you can go to a thread and then click a button that takes you straight to a staff post? This is a feature that some gaming communities have and I wonder if other people use it?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean like a button that takes you to a post in the staff forum?

No, but that would be useful. It isn't available on my forum software though.

This is what I mean, I didn't really explain myself properly:

If I create a thread and then a moderator replied later on 5 posts down, a button could appear at the top of the thread saying, "Go to staff post" and send e to the moderator's post

I've never seen this on a forum, but I can certainly see it being useful in help/support forums where you need to find a credible response. Not that useful for most, discussion-based forums though.

I have seen this on a Gaming Forum Software called Enjin. I don't use it myself, not that helpful except on a support site like Geoffrey said.

Oh that actually seems like a great feature for a support forum 🙂

Yep, also never seen it. 😛

This was something that has been discussed at length on the RuneScape Official Forums. Generally, one side would argue that this would distract from regular members' posts, which is a good point. Although I think the main reason the feature isn't implemented there is because of the effort developing it. 😛

I've never heard of this so I'm pretty sure my forum doesn't have this.
