I think using slash tags to slash out non-important search results is pretty cool. Since I'm less likely to get results for Mythology on Halo when I search Blekko for halo /videogames results http://blekko.com/ws/halo+/videogames

It is also cool I can just put /images to the end of a search to get all the image search for a term like cats /images Result: http://blekko.com/ws/cats+/images

or cats /videos for videos

http://blekko.com/ws/cats+/videos

I can also use /date to sort results from newest to oldest in web search.

Indeed, but using slashes is more natural since we all use slashes when typing in web addresses for paths like www.example.com/blog .

You can also search without typing in / slashes . Blekko claims to have less spammy and poor content websites in their results compared to other search engines.
