views on students reading mens magazine Maxim,FHM at school?

I don't really have a problem with Maxim, FHM, Stuff, and other similar magazines being read at school if it is High School or College since there are far worse magazines.

But, teachers, principals, and staff who try to be politically correct usually tell students who read Maxim, FHM, and other mens magazines to put them away, or the teacher just confiscate it.

I guest it can be kind of uncomfortable sitting next to someone reading a magazine of a women in a bikini on the cover if you are very uncomfortable viewing scantily clad women, or think it is offensive.

It depends when and where they are reading them. During class isn't appropriate, and is offensive to a teacher trying to teach a lesson. I bet most of the time, when these mags are confiscated, it's during a class when the teacher is actually teaching something.

If it's during lunch etc., then I don't see any major issue involved.

I agree there mags should be read in pupils free time or at home
i use to buy zoo for my son when he was 16 and he kept it in his bedroom to read
