How do you deal with them? 😛

Viruses usually aren't too bad. And mostly you can go to the hidden files, and delete the file. Other times, you might need to pase the process, and then delete the file. Other times, it can be tricky. There was one time, it got tricky, and I didn't feel like fighting, so I just restored my system.
 
Seriously? Don't post here if it is not relavent to the topic posted..

I had a bad virus once, I penetrated most of the system files and deleted core files..

And lol. A bad virus is heart attack.

Anyone have the fake anti virus program download itself? 🙂 Win System 9 or whatever.
 
I got viruses 2 times. The first time there were so many viruses my anti-viruses got destroy with my computer. The second time my ant-viruses remove it as so as I got it.
 
I had a wicked bad virus like 3 or 4 years ago. Completely destroyed my computer. My PC now is much safer.
 
I've had a few bad viruses, and that fake av now that was hellish

Anyways, I imported one into a very stupid site once. I have avg and a couple of other virus software.

My brother's computer has had that twice in the past week. X_X I have not encountered it on my computer yet...
 
You guys seem not to know what a virus is...

A virus is a program that duplicates itself over and over into different areas.

You guys are talking about Trojans and Spyware.
 
I hate how mac user and linux users act invisible....there are already viruses out there for them...just most have been patched/fixed already..Windows is more targeted, because um...lets see most home users use PC's.

Back on topic though:

Ive had some bad viruses before, but if my AV cant fix it...safe mode can.

Thats fanboyism for ya.

Whats funny is not to long ago mac had a surge of trojans hits.

However if their users were smart and didn't give it access it wouldn't have done harm,but nooo mac can't get malware ....

However to be fair atleast malware in linux and mac get patched pretty fast.(sometimes under a day)
 
Never had a virus, even through the period where I didn't use an Anti-Virus. But I did get I keylogger once, but I managed to remove that myself. Don't know if a keylogger counts as a virus though.
 
Virus Prevention > Virus scanning. I don't really worry, cause I'm on Ubuntu. Great operating system.
