Volact - What are your thoughts?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for feedback on http://www.volact.com/

Other than the logo, what are your thoughts on the site? I think I finally managed to get a new support system chat installed, so that's a plus. What do you all think?

Oh wow! I love the design, it's so clean and easy on the eyes. Everything seems to match perfectly, from the amazing logo to the tucked away chat bar.

Every page seems to load smooth and fast too, which is a great bonus.

The Shared Hosting page is easy to use, displays everything you need to know and cuts out the pointless garbage some others hosts write.

Your WHMCS installation has been themed to fit perfectly too and there is no lag when submitting the forms either which is great!

Overall it looks very presentable and professional, and if I was searching for website hosting or a domain and came across your website, I'd be ordering with your website has all the qualities people look for when searching for a host. It's hosts like yours that make me feel proud when they advertise their services on my market forum.

Well done though, and good luck with the future of your business.

I made sure that I had Volact running smoothly and fast, as usually the first impression of the hosting site itself determines your potential customers. I've put a lot of time into it, and I'm glad people like you enjoy it! It took me forever to customize the site like it is now, but I definitely think it will help in the long run. I've made a huge investment with all of the funding and time I've put into this, but I definitely think Volact will succeed. I just need to work on promoting the site more.

1. Your design is the same as USHost247, so of course I like the design. Although, your logo seems to be out of place and does not match the rest of the theme. There is a huge blank space on the right side of the logo that could potentially be utilized.

2. The scroll menu at top. If all the slides are exactly the same, why have them?

3. "More Features" tabs. You seem to have content splattered across the tabs, but there are spacing issues throughout the tabs and under "Website Design" you still have "Content 2" headers on all 3 paragraphs. I would consider fixing this, as it looks like you just slapped the site together and placed it online without finishing it.

"SSL Certificates" tab. Why have it advertised when you don't offer it to your customers? I wouldn't tell your audience you don't offer it standard due to "low requests". This makes it seem to me like your host only has a few people.

4. Your support live chat seems to always been offline. Every time I have visited, it has been offline.

5. I won't open up a can of worms here, but just be sure all content is original to your site.
 
1. Haha, someone actually asked if we were partners because we were using the same theme. I had to explain that it was just a coincidence. πŸ˜€ I understand about the logo, which is why I tried to ask people to leave it out of the review. I'm currently working on getting a new one that will still be red and black, but still be readable on that dark-ish blue background. I was either thinking of doing a white text-shadow, or photo shopping that image to make it a little lighter in that one area.

2. I disabled the autoplay in the script, so they won't scroll through automatically, but I temporarily did that to try to customize the image in the background, which isn't going so well. I understand where you're coming from, so I'll comment out the code for the slide buttons here shortly.

3. I was trying to see the best way to utilize this space, but since this template allows you to effectively show a lot of information in a clean fashion, I wasn't sure what to put here. I understand your thoughts, though, and I'll try to think of something.

4. I've recently installed a new chat system yesterday, and I'm still working on getting the app installed on my phone as well. I was at work all day today, and usually I'm always online around this time from now until about 2-3 AM EST. I'm trying to hire on more support agents that will soon make this a 24/7 feature. You can chat now if you'd like, or you can leave a message. πŸ™‚

5. The incident you are referring to was done by a staff member, without the consent from me. Action has been taken regarding that issue, and we respect everyone's properties and creations.

Your live chat works great. ( I just tested it, and it's pretty fast too) πŸ™‚ One thing I noticed is when I click on "Become a Facebook fan" I get Whmcs themes? Besides that everything else looks great. I will add more later if I think of anything.

Haha, I am, I live in Anderson. That's pretty cool! I'm actually going to be buying an 800 number soon though πŸ˜›
