I have a VPS and it is currently running CentOS 6 and hosting 3 websites, and a minecraft server. 2 websites have constant traffic, but not anything extreme. I was just wondering if anyone here knew any measures beside the generic iptables I could take to more secure the VPS from ddos etc..? I installed a package that was supposed to increase security by changing iptables rules, but all that did was crash my iptables and make me have to rewrite all the rules I already had. Note to self was taken to backup before I do anything like that
