I have an eCommerce business that I own and have the website on a VPS. I have a great deal of left over space that is just sitting and would like to offer it out to members of Forum Promotion.
This is absolute bare bones web hosting. I do not have cPanel or email available on the server nor will the user get FTP access, everything will have to be done by me (loading software, databases, etc.) through command lines. This offer is solely for those that will never/rarely need FTP or email access once the software is loaded. The benefit for you is that you will receive VPS speeds at less than shared hosting price. As I said, I am not a web host, I am simply looking to offer some available space to you all.
Your files will always remain your own. If you decide to move, I will give you all files (database and all). You will also receive my business email address that I monitor all day and will be able to load anything you may need from images to plugins. I have years of experience and can do whatever you may need to keep your forum or blog running.
If you are interested in seeing a website that is on the VPS, send me a PM and I will send you some links. You can then check load speeds for yourself and see if it is something you would be interested in. Below is an image of the current space available, I am able to offer this to multiple people.
I am looking to get around $10/6 months. I will also offer $16/annual if someone would like to go that route. Either one of those will be prepaid, as i said - I am not a web host so I don't have automatic billing capabilities. All payments will be collected by PayPal and I will have your web host setup within just a few hours - usually within the hour during regular business hours (I am in Eastern Time Zone).
NOTE: You will need access to change your "A HOST" for your domain. Please see the image below for an example with GoDaddy.
