What a classic movie. I can watch it over and over. Of course, I think the politics is a bit biased, though, like with other Oliver Stone stuff. Anyway, his presentation of the Golden Calf of Money is certainly a hallmark of the 20th century - especially the Gordon Gecko speeches.

Right, it just wasn't the same without that old cast back together and Michael Douglas just didn't have the same magic - but then again, he was in prison for 20 years.

Definitely making money becomes too much with these people. I guess as it would be with anything else. I mean, I'm sure to athletes winning and recognition becomes an obsession.
On the flip side though, there are those with no self-esteem whose lack of enthusiasm isn't healthy.
