Yes. I'm a member of a warez forum which I just have a look around. I've downloaded one or two things from that site but that's all. I would rather use something similar for free.

I have gotten a message from my ISP Internet provider saying I was caught "hosting" warez movies.. I was seeding the movie "Fast and Furious" (The New one) After I got the warning, I removed all the seeded files and deleted my bittorrent program. I still have torrented files, but do not seed anything any longer.

Yes Toxic, Warez is illegal and not allowed. But there are many many people that host it and re-host it and there is no possible way to stop it.

This is a Federal Crime in the United States. These sites are hosted on private servers and just keep popping up. I never have, and never will. You never get anything for free in life, there is always a catch.

You never know when you will get a virus.

Technically no one is talking about warez or torrents, the author is just merely asking if people use them/not, anyone else who has replied with their life story is just off topic :great:

I've only downloaded stuff from Rapidshare. That is pretty much the only site which you are sure doesn't contain virusus. Megaupload is another safe one. I wouldn't download anything from anywhere else though.

I have a couple times, nothing recently. I tend to look for a free alternative first. A good example is Microsoft office, I use OpenOffice which works just as well.

Most have dsclaimers saying anyone that works for the Goverment is not allowed in the site, it violates the privacy act, which i searched up and Wiki said was fake, but Wiki is made by users, so I don't know.
