Warning for no reason?

Oh well, at least you were honest with those people. It's more than some people can say for themselves. I rather be honest and get what's coming to me for being me than do anything else. Being real is far more important then being liked as being liked only has any value if it comes from being genuine which while not happening often only increases its value when it does come which it will eventually.

I am certain that there is no forum account or staff position more valuable than one's integrity. Integrity is one's most valuable possession and life will leave you with no end to chances to trade that integrity in to keep something you have that you value or to gain something that you value for it but it's never worth it and anyone who made the trade has ultimately regretted doing so.

The one and only time I have ever received a warning on a forum was at the ProBoards Support forum. I got into a heated “discussion” with one of the admins. Later, we settled our differences and became pretty good friends.

Once, I was on a gaming forum and for having an opinion I was kicked then harassed by the same moderator. There was nothing I could do, not even contact the Admins about it. Really upset and frustrated I figured I'd be better off without them. I never understood why either, didn't break the rules or anything.

I am really loving this thread. (I had no idea there were resources like this out there.)

I'm probably lucky that I've never had any problems with people that I've had to warn or ban. Most of the time when I've had to warn someone, they've apologized profusely and don't repeat the behavior.

Your problem was that you possessed the wrong opinion and you were duly punished for having it because to some people their opinion is the only right one and having any other is deemed wrong and punishment worthy. Apparently the team values each other versus their community so it won't be long before such a staff team sink their forum into the ground with their foolishness.
