Warning: PayPal Scam

Hello guys.
I've just signed in to my E-Mail account on www.msn.com and I have 1 Junk Message.

This is a PayPal scam and this is new to me.

Dear PayPal member,

We recently reviewed your account, and we are suspecting that your PayPal account may have been accessed from an unauthorized computer. 

This may be due to changes in your IP address or location. Protecting the security of your account and of the PayPal network is our primary concern.

We are asking you to immediately login and report any unauthorized withdrawals, and check your account profile to make sure no changes have been made.

To protect your account please follow the instructions below:

       * DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD WITH OTHER USERS

       * LOG OFF AFTER USING YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT

Scams like that are a dime a dozen. What is unfortunate is people fall for it.

I got those all the time as well. Which is weird because while I have looked at the PayPal site before, I've never signed up there, so it was pathetic that I was getting these emails even though I didn't recall signing up. Blocked the email and deleted. Got to love scammers, right?

It's kind of sad that people are trying to scam users out of their paypal accounts with these types of fissure emails. What makes it sad is the fact that people actually fall for this type of stuff.

Exactly to the poster above. If people weren't so stupid, and read before they clicked be wouldn't have to deal with this crap. 🙂

I get like 2-5 emails like that per day. I never bother to even read them I just delete them. 🙂
