Of course, it seems that way to many - but perhaps the British had decent arguments. Anyway, of course, they would be the old "Those ungrateful punks" argument, lol.
Well, myself, certainly I would think that the French and Indian War wasn't free and had to be paid. I suppose the problem was - as with most colonial rebellions - that the controlling government liked to "rub it in", so to speak.
