What are the different waste disposal methods that you try at your home? Do you segregate the waste or do you just dump them into the municipality waste basket and wait for them to take it away?

In my home we send the organic waste to the compost pit and all the non organic waste (including plastics and paper) into the municipality waste bin.

three bins, One for everyday rubbish use that goes out twice an month. Then the plastics and paper bin that goes ever other week and tends to get full very fast.

The the green bin that doesn't get used

In my particular community, we don't have a active recycling program. So everything gets tossed into the same bin, unless one wants to take it to the proper place, or the community recycle area to separate it.

We separate our recycling and compost from the regular trash. The local waste department issues those two garbage contains, plus a "trash," and there's usually limited space.

I have the burn can, and the no-burn can. Where I live, there's no citywide trash program. If we want our trash moved, we have to pay someone to do it, or move it ourselves. I try to burn as much as possible because it actually costs money to recycle here.
