Have you watched any silent films? What did you think about them?
I haven't watched a full length film yet. I have to be in the mood & the graphics are much different than they are now. However, I do enjoy watching some of them as they were quite entertaining.
I have a fair sized collection of silent movies all of which tend to fall into the surreal category e.g. Metropolis, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, The lodger, La Belle et la Bête etc. A more modern movie by David Lynch, Eraserhead although not strictly silent also belongs to that category.
Well worth checking out in my opinion and many of these movies can now be found on YouTube. I'd probably steer clear of Eraserhead though, it's not for the fainthearted!
