It's a cool banner I made while playing with GIMP:

Hmm, looks nice. The colors are great, but I would have gone with a lighter Black. The reflection is a great addition, and I love the font.

The reason I chose black is to make the text noticable.

Would have looked 'better' imo, if you put a little gloss with the text. 🙂

Hmm what exactly do you mean by gloss?

Like,
More effect.
It looks like you ust slapped it there.
Gloss as in, like some white gradient coming from the top.
Or, use the bevel effect on the text. 😛

Simple, yet uses some great effects. May not be a banner yet, but I would love to see this larger (or smaller as an affiliate button).
