That does make sense, actually. Because if you got a song where the singer writes about drugs, alcohol, anything that would be inappropriate for young listeners, well, it's probably like showing a movie with violence or gangs or something like that... midnight viewing would be best as most young viewers are asleep by then.

Well, I guess it's understandable why it got banned since it does contain some sensitive stuff. But truth is, banning isn't really very effective since we have the internet and stuff. But oh well.

The French are actually pretty liberal but this vid takes it right to the line in some areas. I like it myself but I can see how others would be very offended.

As far as writing songs goes, those kinds of topics right there have been popular for many years. I don't see it dying down anytime soon. I wonder, though, what would happen if Rihanna were to go on tour in France as one of her stops? Would she just simply be banned from performing that song, or how would that work, I wonder?
