lol. It happened last night! It was a lot of fun, we like to turn it into a party on the general board whenever stuff like this happens. {Okay, we take just about any excuse to throw a party.} People try to get a screenshot of it and they get a little prize if they do. A lot of people missed it by a post either way this time so I kinda gave them a consolation prize too. I'm just a pushover XD

We had a hard slog through late summer and fall but we bounced back. There was a time when I was worried for a bit--it was during this time I joined you guys. We are definitely still alive and kicking!

Well, however long it takes to get to a million, I don't care as long as it's fun! That's really the only point of our board, fun and creativity through roleplaying. Had a slight headache tonight though as it was brought to my attention, a few weeks too late, that some of our lower level staff were being "application nazis" and drove away at least a few new members. Cleaning up this sort of PR nightmare as well as feeling guilty over how players got treated by people that I trusted to do ONE job on that board, one of our most important jobs, and doing something that I'd warned them thrice before. But eh...nothing to do but just clean up the mess and make sure it doesn't happen again. Posted a public apology on general board, posted a sticky note on two other boards, approved the apps myself where needed and Emailed the disgusted new players in the hopes they'll give the game a second look. If they don't I sure won't blame them, but I know better now than to go without looking in that application board more often.
