Why? because you're forum is booming as you expected when you first created it. it takes alot of time and patience. plus excessive amounts of advertising, and i'm not just talking about placing an Ad topic on an Ad forum and thinking thats going to do it ... it's not.
You need to get involved with members and the community, do some post and affiliate exchanges ... even join similar gaming forums and place your Ad banner in your Sig, so when you post, people with similar interests will see your Ad.
you have to understand, there are 1,000's of forums for gaming, you just have to find something that hooks guests to join yours instead of someone else's.
no reason to give up so easily. believe me, we've all been members of huge sussessful forums, and wanted that for ours, but it's not going to happen in the first few months, even years. you have to be dedicated and stop at nothing to keep activity and members joining.
woukld you like to do an activity agreement for each other. not a post exchange, just visit each other every day or so, and post.

Using marquee when it's not really needed is very off-putting and does not look professional.
Would be much better if it were simply center-aligned, rather than between marquee tags. ~smile~
